But that doesn’t mean we can’t learn to love ourselves more than ever before.
At some point in every person’s life, they realize that they need more love and affection in their life.
For some, this comes in the form of a new relationship. For others, it’s a job or a new hobby.
For others, it’s a personal growth class or a meditation retreat.
We’re living in a time of profound self-awareness.
As a result, it can be hard to love ourselves sometimes.
We compare ourselves to others, we feel insecure about our bodies, our skills, and our talents.

It’s about setting healthy boundaries so that you can maintain your own health and well-being.
It’s about valuing yourself enough to say no to the things and people that aren’t good for you.
Most importantly, it’s about learning to love and appreciate yourself just the way you are.
The truth is, self-love is not about you at all. It’s about learning to set your own needs aside for the sake of others.
It’s about putting the needs of others before your own, even when it means putting your needs on the back burner.
It’s about being okay with being uncomfortable.
